                વરસાદ થી ડુંગળીના ખરીફ પાકને નુકશાનની વકી,ભાવમાં વધારો થવા ની શક્યતાઓ.

હલમા દેશના મુખ્ય ઉત્પદક રાજ્યો જેવા કે મહારાષ્ટ્ર,મધ્યપ્રદેશ, કર્ણાટક ડુંગળી ના ભાવ ખૂબજ નીચા છે, જેના કારણે ખેડુતો તેણા ઉત્પાદન ખર્ચ ને પોહચી વળવા માં સક્ષમ નથી.પરંતુ આ વિસ્તાર માં અવિરત વરસાદ ને જોતા ડુંગળી ના ખરીફ પાક ને જોતા નુકશાન થવાની સંભાવના વધતી ગઈ હોવાથી આગમી દિવાસો માં ડુંગળી ના ભાવમા વધારો થવાની ધરણા છે.

                            ડુંગળી ઉત્પાદક રાજ્યોમાં અવિરત વરસાદથી ડુંગળી ના પાકને થયેલું નુકશાન

હાલમાં કર્ણાટક અને મહારાષ્ટ્ર માં ખરીફ ડુંગળી નું વાવેતર શરૂ થઇ ગયું છે.મહારાષ્ટ્ર માં ડુંગળી નું વાવેતર મુખ્યત્વે ઓક્ટોમ્બર થી શરુ થાય છે.રાજ્યો માં રવિ પાકની ડુંગળી નો હિસ્સો ૭૦% જેટલો જયારે ખરીફ પાકની ડુંગળી નું વાવેતર નો હિસ્સો ૩૦% જેટલો હોય છે.

                           જાણકારો ના માતે ખરીફ ઉગવેલી ડુંગળી માં વરસાદ ના કારણે મૂળ નો નાશ થઈ રહ્યો છે, તેમજ ઉતર કર્ણાટક માં પણ ખરીફ ડુંગળી ના વાવેતર માં નુક્શાની જોવા મળી રહી છે.આવી પરિસ્થિતિ માં ડુંગળી ના ભાવ વધવા ની શક્યતા ઓ વધારે છે.

                         National Horticultural Resources and Development establishment  ના કાર્ય પાલક પી.કે.ગુપ્તા કહે છે કે આ વર્ષે ખરીફ ડુંગળી નુ વાવેતર 20 થી 25% વધારે થયું છે,પરંતુ મહારાષ્ટ્ર અને મધ્યપ્રદેશ મા વરસાદ ના લિધે નુકસાન થયુ છે, જો આવતા મહીને નવી ડુંગળી આવે અને આવો જ માહોલ રહે તો ભાવ વધવા ની શક્યતાઓ છે.

                               

                           વર્ષ ૨૦૨૧-૨૨ માં ૩૧૭ લાખ ટન ડુંગળી નું ઉત્પાદન થયું હતું,જે વર્ષ ૨૦૨૦-૨૧ માં ૨૬૬ ટન લાખ કરતા  ૧૯ % વધારો થયો છે.

              Damage to onion kharif crop due to rains is likely to increase prices.

Onion prices are very low in major producing states of the country like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, due to which farmers are not able to meet the cost of production. Since they are gone, protests are being seen against onion price hike in the coming days.

Damage to onion crop due to incessant rains in onion producing states

At present, Kharif onion planting has started in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Onion planting in Maharashtra starts mainly from October. The share of Rabi crop onion in the states is about 70% while the share of Kharif crop onion planting is about 30%.

According to the informants, the roots are being destroyed due to the rains in Kharif grown onion, and also in North Karnataka, losses are being seen in Kharif onion planting. In such a situation, the possibility of onion price increase is high.

National Horticultural Resources and Development establishment's caretaker P.K.Gupta says that Kharif onion planting has increased by 20 to 25% this year, but there has been damage due to rains in Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. If the situation remains the same, there are possibilities of price increase. In the year 2021-22, 317 lakh tonnes of onion was produced, which has increased by 19% from 266 lakh tonnes in the year 2020-21.
